My work lies at the intersection of Political Economy, International Relations, and Comparative Politics. While I am primarily a formal theorist, I also employ quantitative methods and empirical analysis in my research.
One strand of my work examines the politics of non-democracies, with a particular focus on protests and opposition strategies. Another studies how the interplay between a party's political incentives and firms' strategic responses affects welfare.
